2015 Year in Review

Looking back at 2015, I have to take a moment to breathe and say ‘well, holy crap‘, because it was an amazing year. The year flew by in a dizzying flurry of writing, publishing and planning.

Total words written in 2015: 346,141

Total works published in 2015: 18

2015 was a year of novellas, short stories and anthologies. I did publish two full length novels, but the majority of my published works were under 20,000 words. It was fun to experiment with shorter stories and take part in anthologies. For 2016, I do plan on working on a few novellas, but my goal is to focus mainly on full length novels, including finishing up The Stables series and starting the second arc in the Corwint series. I’ll also be continuing Welcome to Alvarado, my most popular series to date.

Heading into 2016, I want to thank all my readers, friends and supporters. Without you, I would be writing stories that are never heard, and I’d probably be working at a job I hate instead of doing what I love for a living. You all help make this dream a reality, and for that I am forever grateful.

To my fellow authors – I hope your 2015 was spectacular, and I wish you luck and success in 2016.

Happy New Year, everyone!
